The Greenhead Hostel
The Greenhead Hostel is in the heart of Roman Wall country.
Greenhead Hostel is a converted Methodist Chapel in the village of Greenhead on Hadrian's Wall. It is ideal for those walking the Pennine Way as well as the Hadrian's Pathway National trail and in a great location for those exploring the nearby Roman heritage sites at Birdoswald Fort , Vindolanda and Houseteads.
The chapel was built in 1866 to serve the village miners and held its last service in 1972.
The hostel dormitories can be booked as family rooms, by groups or as individual beds. The hostel can also be booked for sole use by schools and large groups. See our tariff and booking details.
