Two extraordinary places to visit in the same day - or take longer about it. Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle are at the home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. The Castle is the setting for scenes from Harry Potter and the Downtown Abbey Christmas Special with the spectacular Gardens the creation of the Duchess of Northumberland. A must do visit when in Northumberland.
